Boris Johnson will host a Press Conference at 5pm this afternoon where he will be joined by NHS England Chief Executive Simon Stevens and Brigadier Phil Prosser.
Brigadier Phil Prosser is a British Army Leader and an experienced Leader with a demonstrated history of working in industry. Skilled in Crisis Management, Data Analysis, Risk Management, Project Management, Operations Management and Operational Planning.
The Press Conference is set to focus on the mass rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, with the army set to support the government.
It is also being reported that GPs are being urged to stand down routine appointments so they can prioritise COVID-19 vaccinations.
