The Hereford Food Festival WILL return this year and it promises to be bigger and better than ever!
The Food Festival will take place on 2nd and 3rd September, with tickets going on sale soon, say the organisers.
There will be food, drink, music and a whole lot of fun.
The news comes as previous organiser Sophie confirmed in a post on social media that she was leaving and passing on the event to two new people.
In a message, Sophie said:
“The news will soon be out but I wanted to tell you myself…. It’s no longer me (Sophie!) at the helm of Hereford Food Festival.
“The business has passed over to it’s brand new owners – David and Martin – a few weeks ago and is in VERY good hands.
“David’s accolades in the food industry and Martin’s success in the music festival industry, it’s an absolute winning combo.
“I loved my 4 years running the Hereford Food festival and thank you to everyone who supported the event. It was a true pleasure (and also very hard work!) but a huge part of my life and one ill always cherish.
“I’ll still be sliding into your social feeds on a constant basis as I am staying on as The Hereford Food Festival Marketing Manager and helping in a very small way behind the scenes to ensure everyone has the festival they know and love.
“Thanks for the most amazing 4 festivals H town, David and Martin – I can’t wait to see what you turn this into… OVER TO YOU.”
