Hereford FC reached the 50 point mark in the National League North with a 1-1 home draw against Boston United at Edgar Street on Saturday.
The Bulls took the lead through Ryan McLean just after half time, but the visitors secured a point twelve minutes from time.
1,505 supporters watched the fixture and the result should edge the Bulls closer to safety with a trip to Leamington on Good Friday.
Elsewhere, Hereford Pegasus produced a stunning performance to thrash Worcester Raiders 4-0.
Pegasus made the relative short journey to the Sixways Stadium, Worcester, to face free scoring Worcester Raiders, who are in third place in the Premier Division of the uhlsport Hellenic League.
A combative opening saw the hosts shade the advantage. Some ten minutes in, Louis Monaghan the Raiders striker and James Behan the Pegasus gloveman collided just outside the penalty area, after a lofted ball found the striker, the keeper resumed after a lengthy period of treatment.
On the half hour a long throw from inside the Pegasus half was flicked into Matty James, who held off his man, spun around him, plays the ball to Cawley Cox who fires across Joe Sidaway into the far corner of the goal.
Three minutes into the second half Pegasus extend the lead. Carlos Moreira was fouled on the left touchline by Sam Carey, who was cautioned for the rash tackle, Skipper Jamie Price delivered a wonderful free kick which Matty James volleyed into the roof of the net.
Four minutes later, the visitors scored again, Jordan Williamson from 20 yards rifled the ball into the top corner.
Midway into the half, Jordan Williamson produced a moment of absolute brilliance. He received the ball on his chest, flicks it back over his head and the head of his marker, then hit a left foot volley from 35 yards. A goal good enough to grace any television screen. The three hundred crowd were stunned to see their team four goals down and, not looking likely to score.
Try as they may, Raiders were unable to find a way to seriously test Behan. Such was the determination of the visitors defensive unit however, following a corner kick, the ball was partially cleared to Jade Ferron who shot through the congested penalty area, Behan pushed it over the crossbar.
Four minutes from time, Bradlee Phillips was fouled close to the touch line. Dean Waldron was shown a red card for his misdemeanour.
The hosts suffered their heaviest defeat of the season, having only lost by more than the odd goal on two occasions. The last time they lost by more than two goals was by Pegasus, who won 0-3 last season.
Joint manager Mark Hibbard said afterwards, “That was our best team performance of the season. We had a plan today and, the players did what we asked.”
The same couldn’t be said for Hereford Lads Club who were beaten 5-3 by Lydney Town at home.
Things started so well for Lads Club with Matt Williams giving the side a 1-0 lead, before Lydney hit back with two long range efforts to make it 2-1. Hereford Lads Club then scored to make it 2-2, with the ball clearly crossing the line before bouncing off the inside of the goal, however the referee and assistant failed to see it and the goal wasn’t given.
The visitors then went straight up the other end and made it 3-1. Lydney added a fourth before Brandon Jennings scored a brace for the hosts to make it a nervy end for the visitors, but as Lads Club pushed forward, Lydney broke away and sealed the victory with a fifth goal.
