A Hereford pub has issued a statement this lunchtime after a customer spat in the face of a manager yesterday.
The Spread Eagle in Hereford posted the following on their Facebook page earlier:
“So what a great weekend we had here at the Spread and we thank you all for coming in and supporting us and following the rules.
“However we had an isolated incident last night where a customer spat in the face of our manager, Charlie Allport. Charlie is my daughter and the incident has been reported, as long as I am the licensee of the Spread Eagle he will never set foot in this place again.
“As stated on many previous posts I will not tolerate any abuse to any member of the Spread Eagle staff.”
