West Mercia Police have provided an update following a collision in Herefordshire earlier today.

The collision occurred on the A4137 between the A49 junction and Symonds Yat at St Owens Cross.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“We were called to a two vehicle collision on the A4137 near St Owens Cross shortly after 8am this morning.  

“Nobody was injured and no arrests were made. The road was closed while the vehicle was recovered.”

West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the incident and a spokesperson told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called at 8.07am to reports of an RTC on The Highlands near St Owens Cross in Herefordshire.

“One ambulance was sent where, on arrival, crews discovered one car had been involved in a collision. 

“The driver, a man, was already out the vehicle. He was assessed by ambulance staff but did not require hospital treatment and was discharged at the scene.”
