Hogarths in Hereford is set to reopen this evening, following major refurbishment work.

The work is thanks to a significant investment by Amber Taverns, demonstrating a confidence in Hereford’s daytime and nighttime economy.

The final touches are being completed ahead of the reopening at 6pm this evening.

Tom Williams, General Manager at Hogarths in Hereford told Your Herefordshire:

“This is a substantial reinvestment made by Amber Taverns, in Hogarths.

“This ultimately demonstrates the confidence in both Hereford’s daytime and nighttime economy and long term viability.

“Opening at 6pm Friday, everyone is welcome to come and experience something rather unique and special.

“We’ve taken what we knew worked, and made it even better to create a modern welcoming atmosphere.

“A lot of care and attention in the design stages has been taken to not make Hogarths un-recognisable.

“This work has been strategically planned ahead of a summer of sport.

“We’re keeping the parties, dogs are still welcome and we’d like everyone to enjoy Summer 2024 in our beautiful beer garden.

“Myself and my team are excited to be re-establishing ourselves as a bar which is at the heart of the community and we cannot wait to welcome new customers and old customers to showcase our offering.

“The refurbishment is bringing a new lease of life to Hogarths and I am confident the customers are going to love our facilities for a better experience than ever before.

“We are introducing darts into the mix and we hope to set up a darts team in the local league soon.

“People will be pleased to hear the sticky carpets have gone, and we are now fully air conditioned.

“We’ve still got the same great drinks offering and menu as before.”

There will also be a free glass of Prosecco to the first 25 people through the door this evening. Who could resist that on a Friday evening?

There are a number of fantastic events coming up this summer, starting with a charity foam party for Herefordshire Young Farmer on Bank Holiday Sunday.
