West Mercia Police have confirmed that a man has died following a collision between two lorries on the M50 this morning.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
The eastbound carriageway between junctions one and two remains closed following a collision between two HGV lorries earlier today (29 February).
Sadly, we can confirm that a man has died in the collision, and our officers are still in attendance with our emergency services colleagues and partner agencies.
We apologise to those who have been stuck in their vehicles since this morning and appreciate your patience. Our officers are doing their best to support those who are stuck in the traffic.
