Police are appealing for help in locating the whereabouts of a man from Newent.
Scott, aged 30, was reported missing after last being seen at an address in Pippin Close last night.
He is believed to still be in the Newent area and officers think he could have made his way towards the lake.
Scott may be paranoid and police have advised that due to this he may try to hide himself from sight and evade help.
Officers are growing concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
Scott is described as being a white man, 6ft in height, with short, spiked ginger hair and stubble. He is wearing dark clothing and often wears a beanie hat.
