From West Mercia Police:
We have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident in Worcester this evening (Saturday 6 August).
Around 9pm we received a report that a woman had been stabbed at a property on Staplow Road.
We attended with colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service and the woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, with injuries that were believed to be non-life changing.
After a search of the area involving the National Police Air Service, a 29-year-old man from Worcester was arrested.
He remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
A weapon was recovered and there is no wider risk to the public.
