NHS England has released a list of vaccination centres, with six currently in place in Herefordshire. A number of new centres are expected to open over the coming weeks, with the rollout of vaccinations set to pick up pace.
These include:
- Saxon Hall in Hereford
- Quay House Surgery in Hereford
- Larruperz Centre in Ross-on-Wye
- Bridge Street Sports Centre (Halo) Leominster
- Ledbury Community Centre
- Hereford County Hospital
It comes as the Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that over 3.2 million have had the COVID-19 vaccine, that is over double the number that had received in the previous week.
A large number of over 70’s are expected to receive letters through the post in the coming week, detailing when they are likely to receive their vaccinations, with reports stating that close to 90% of over 80’s have received the vaccine in a number of parts of the United Kingdom.
Herefordshire is continuing its rollout with a number of vaccination centres open this weekend.
