West Mercia Police have confirmed the reason why a police helicopter was circling over Hereford overnight.
Around 11pm last night (Sunday 25 September) we received a report of a burglary at a building site on College Road, Hereford.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
We attended and conducted a search of the area with the help of the National Police Air Service.
Four men, two 28-year-olds and a 29-year-old from Birmingham and a 25-year-old from Hereford, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in custody.
Nothing was reported stolen, no injuries were reported and enquiries are ongoing.
