Crews from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service stations in Leominster & Tenbury rescued a 25 year old from the river in Leominster yesterday evening.
HW Fire Leominster tweeted:
“During the current conditions, crews at Leominster have been split up into smaller groups for our weekly drill nights. The crew that were training tonight had an incident in the river behind our station that required us to call for assistance from HW Fire Tenbury for their water rescue capability. Crews stabilised the scene that involved a 25yr old with a suspected ankle injury before Tenbury’s water rescue team came to assist.”
