Ross-on-Wye Town Council has provided an update on the Wilton Road traffic light system that is currently in place due to the ongoing risk of rock fall.
The update from Ross-on-Wye Town Council says:
“Balfour Beatty are now looking to install the concrete barriers and fencing next Wednesday 13th October. The work will commence at 9am on Wednesday and will be completed by 5pm on Friday 15th October.
“Local residents and businesses will be receiving letters in the coming days to advise that the road will be closed temporarily whilst the installation works are carried out.
“The installation of the barriers and fencing will mean that the temporary traffic lights and lane closure will be removed, resulting in two-way traffic being able to use the road again. It will also mean, however, that the on-street parking will be suspended as previously advised.”
