Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford were mobilised to a serious single vehicle RTC on the B4347 Bacton to Abbey Dore. Supporting colleagues from Ewyas Harold.
One small vehicle was involved in a collision with the wall of a bridge, with one female trapped.
Crews used holmatro cutting equipment to gain initial access to the casualty followed by extensive spreading and ramming to release the entrapment.
Working alongside colleagues from the ambulance service, critical care doctors and the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity the casualty was released and flown to hospital.
Incident was left with the police for road clearance and investigation.
