A Herefordshire school that was hit by flooding last week has provided an update on its reopening.
Peterchurch Primary School suffered extensive flooding on Wednesday, when torrential downpours dropped almost 100mm of rain on parts of Herefordshire.
The school was forced to remain closed on Thursday and Friday, before realising that it would require a further day of cleaning up and repairs today (Monday).
An update shared by the school this afternoon said:
“We are pleased to announce after all the hard work of the staff and contractors we are partially reopening school tomorrow for KS1&2.
“Preschool and Reception are back in on Wednesday.
“We are looking forward to welcoming all our families back!”
