Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have issued an update this morning after a car hit a building in Hereford city centre.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station and the Urban Search and Rescue team (USAR) from Droitwich were called at 02:30 on 5 July to St Owen Street in Hereford where a car was in collision with a building.
“There was a hole in an external wall approximately 2m by 1m in height rendering the building unstable. The vehicle was isolated.
“The USAT team made the building and the area safe using plyboard sheeting. There were no casualties but police and ambulance also attended, as did Balfour Beatty. The incident was marked for closure at 05:54 and closed at 06:29.”
