A number of roads remain closed in Herefordshire this Friday morning, although the overall flooding situation is slowly improving across the county.

Levels on many rivers, especially the River Wye in Herefordshire, are falling rapidly. The Lugg is dropping slower, but the A4103 Hereford to Worcester Road is now open, and Aylestone Roundabout is clear.

However, the Hereford to Sutton St Nicholas road remains under significant flood water and remains closed.

Holme Lacy Road in Hereford has reopened with just a small puddle on one side of the road.

Holme Lacy Causeway is now open and we expect the A438 at Letton to reopen shortly.

Riverside paths in Hereford are also clear this morning.
