The beautiful Worms Head on the Gower Peninsula was Jackie Maul’s favourite place.
Next month, her son Will is walking from Hereford to the popular spot in memory of his mum, who died in our care in January.
“Mum had an infectious personality – the type that you would want to be around all the time,” said Will, who is raising money for St Michael’s by doing the four-day walk.
Jackie’s last few weeks included many moments of happiness, including one afternoon when she had her first-ever tattoo – something she had wanted for a long time.
“I cannot speak highly enough of the care that was provided by St Michael’s,” added Will, who is walking the 100-mile route with his dad. “We were extremely lucky to have been able to have mum in the Hospice, and for that reason I want to give something back to them.”
Thank you, Will. We wish you and your dad all the best! 💙
