BREAKING | Prime Minister WILL now self-isolate after being contacted by NHS Test & Trace - Herefordshire’s Independent Source of News & Information

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson WILL now self-isolate after being contacted by NHS Test & Trace, Downing Street has confirmed.

The Prime Minister and Chancellor had previously planned to take part in a pilot scheme, which would mean they could test daily and avoid self-isolating, but this was met by a major backlash and the pair appear to have both made a significant u-turn.

Whilst the test and trace pilot is fairly restrictive, allowing only essential government business, I recognise that even the sense that the rules aren’t the same for everyone is wrong.

To that end I’ll be self isolating as normal and not taking part in the pilot.
