The Beefy Boys: From Backyard BBQ to World-Class Burgers will be published by Quadrille, and will see the burger heroes share the secrets to producing some of the UK’s most mouthwatering BBQ food.
From the art of steaming buns to the science of different patty styles and unique condiments, the book will offer a step-by-step guide to mastering the perfect burger.
More than just a cookbook, The Beefy Boys: From Backyard BBQ to World-Class Burgers is set to be a treasure trove of insider secrets and expert tips on crafting the perfect burger.
Readers can expect to discover signature recipes such as the Beefy Boy Burger, Oklahoma Onion Boy, Peanut Butter and Jelly Boy, Nashville Hot Chicken Burger, Buffalo Chicken Burger, as well as veggie favourites like the Beanie Boy and Leafy Boy.
A selection of recipes for their famous joy-inducing sides, including Pastrami Fries, Jalapeño Poppers, and Millionaire Fries also feature in the book, along with some unexpected twists like the Pizza Boy, Sunday Roast British Boy, and The Christmas Boy. Each recipe is presented with the Beefy Boys’ signature style and illustrations, along with drool-worthy pictures that are sure to make readers rush to their kitchens.
Founded by four childhood friends, Anthony Murphy, Daniel Mayo-Evans, Christian Williams and Lee Symonds, The Beefy Boys have transformed their passion for great food into a burger empire, with three bustling restaurants in their hometown of Hereford, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury, along with a busy food truck which regularly visits some of the country’s most exciting events.
The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with the restaurant winning both Burger of the Year and Burger Chef of the Year at the 2023 National Burger Awards, and appearances on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and The Hidden World of Hospitality with Tom Kerridge.
