Talk Community are excited to announce that the Here for Herefordshire Holidays programme (well known as the HAF) is open for bookings from the 1st July, for children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals.

Funded by the Department for Education

The programme is free for all school aged children 5 to 16 (reception to Year 11), who are eligible for benefit related free school meals.  During the summer holidays, there will be a fantastic range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities to choose from. There will also be a healthy meal on offer at every session attended.

If your child is school aged 5 to 16 (reception to Year 11) and eligible for benefit related free school meals, they’ll be able to attend different activities.  If you are not sure, please contact your child’s school to check.

You can book up to 64 hours of activities per child over the summer holidays, this can either be the same activity or it could be an opportunity to try a selection of new activities.  At each session a healthy meal will also be provided – so no need to send a packed lunch.

The programme is fully funded by the Department for Education and is run in partnership with local schools, sports clubs, outdoor educators, community organisations and childcare providers.
