West Mercia Police officers are appealing for witnesses after receiving reports of a suspicious fire at a business near Hereford.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
Sometime from 1700hrs on Tuesday 26th April until the morning of Wednesday 27th April a fire was started at Wye Vale Nurseries in Stretton Sugwas. Approximately 9 wooden sleepers and an irrigation system have been damaged.
Luckily the fire on the wooden sleepers had mainly gone out by itself but it left them smoldering until staff arrived there.
This is being treated as suspicious and we are appealing for any information.
