Something odd is reported to be happening to drain covers in one Herefordshire village.
West Mercia Police officers have been informed that a number of drain covers have been stolen from the Aymestrey area of the past week.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
āOver the last week police have been informed that a number of metal drain covers have been stolen from the Aymestrey Parish area.
āWe would like to highlight this behavior to you, so that you are mindful of any suspicious activity in the area similar to this so that it can be reported to police. Your assistance with this is much appreciated.ā
