A woman has spoken to Your Herefordshire and informed us about an incident that occurred when she walked home from a shift at Hereford County Hospital on Friday evening.
The woman who for obvious reasons wishes to remain anonymous, told us that she was walking home from Hereford County Hospital and arrived near the Victoria footbridge at around 7.15pm, when she was approached by three men. The men were speaking amongst themselves in a foreign language so the woman struggled to understand what they were saying, however the men requested that they walked the woman home and when she declined, they decided to follow her and verbally abuse her.
Two other males were walking in the area and noticed the woman in distress so immediately acted like they knew her and walked with her to safety. She has asked us to put a message out there to thank the two men that walked her to safety.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact West Mercia Police, quoting crime reference number 612l 26-03-2021
