Former Hereford United Chairman Peter Hill passed away last month aged 80.
His funeral will be taking place tomorrow afternoon in Byford. This will be a family only cremation followed by a service at Byford which will be a service of thanksgiving and open for anybody to attend.
Tomorrow morning as a final tribute and for friends and family to say a final goodbye, Peter will pass through his beloved city of Hereford one final time.
The procession will start at the players entrance of Hereford FC at around 9.30am on Thursday 10th February. Then it will move on down Blackfriars Street and onto Widemarsh Street before going past Saxtys.
They will then drive through Broad Street and onto King Street where Peter set up an estate agent business.
The Hill family would love people to show their respects for Peter as he makes his final journey tomorrow morning.
Peter’s daughter Niki told Your Herefordshire, “Dad loved being in the limelight and it would be great to see people giving him a fantastic send off as he makes his final journey. He loved Hereford United and the city of Hereford. Before he passed away he completed his autobiography and it will be a book full of many tales and anecdotes of a fantastic life, it will be on sale soon and all money raised will go to local charities.”
