There were three fantastic wins for Herefordshire Athletics at the England Athletics West Midlands Regional Volunteering Awards on Monday evening.
Herefordshire Athletics were invited to attend the England Athletics West Midlands Regional Volunteering Awards in Stratford-upon-Avon on Monday evening, and came away with three awards!
Congratulations to Tony Williams, Ben Skinner and the Save Hereford’s Athletics Track campaign who were all shortlisted for awards and all 3 came away winners!
Tony Williams – Services to Athletics & Running.
Tony has been recognised for his continued involvement and support of the sport since 1955, Tony has held committee positions for both the Association and Hereford & County Athletics Club along with being a coach and official in the sport.
The Herefordshire Running Community – Community Project of the Year.
The running community of Herefordshire’s Save Hereford’s Athletics Track campaign has been recognised for Community project of the year.
Ben Skinnner – Club Leader of the Year.
Ben has been recognised for his role as secretary of both Hereford Couriers Running Club and the County Association and the work he has done on leading the Save Our Track campaign.
