Former Hereford United Goalkeeper and Assistant Manager Russell Hoult has been diagnosed with a chronic liver condition. The West Brom former players twitter page announced the sad news yesterday.
Hoult made two Football League appearances for the Bulls during the 2011/2012 season. He was the Assistant Manager to Jamie Pitman and was originally brought to the club in 2010 as goalkeeping coach under the then manager Simon Davey.
He played in the Premier League for West Brom and Derby County, and can also count Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Stoke City and Nottingham Forest amongst his former clubs.
The team at Your Herefordshire wish Russell a speedy recovery.
