Former Hereford FC manager Josh Gowling has stated in his opening interview as manager of Darlington, that Hereford has a real problem with drugs.

Gowling was named the new manager of Darlington on Tuesday afternoon, and mentioned his time at Hereford in his opening interview.

Gowling mentioned getting involved in community projects, and stated that Hereford has a ‘real problem with County Lines drugs’.

Gowling stated that he believes the community is a ‘massive part of a football club’. 

He also mentioned the club getting rid of its youth team, before deciding to bring it back.
