A memorial football tournament is to take place this June, in memory of a Herefordshire man to mark the first anniversary of his death.
On June 14th 2023, Jordan died very suddenly from a substantial heart attack.
He was aged just 28. Jordan was fit, athletic and had just moved onto a career path that suited his need for adventure.
As we now approach a year since his passing, his family and friends are hosting a memorial football tournament to raise much needed funds for The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The tournament will be held on the pitch Jordan played on weekly with his brother and friends.
The Air Ambulance was dispatched to Jordan in his time of need and he was given advanced life support.
Sadly, nothing could be done to save him despite the crews’ best efforts.
Their input is greatly appreciated by Jordan’s family and they want to raise as much as they possibly can to support them in their ongoing missions to save people’s lives.
Jordan is dearly missed every day and his family hope they can do him proud with this event.
If you would like to attend and support the event, it will be being held at Herefordshire FA’s Ground (Behind Lads Club) on 15th June 2024 at 3pm.
Thank you very much for your support.
