Young defender Cam Davies won a hat-trick of awards after an impressive season for Westfields Football Club.

The centre half, who is just 18-years-old, has impressed throughout a turbulent season for Westfields, being named man of the match on many occasions.

Despite many players departing when Phil Glover left the club, Cameron decided to stay with Westfields and has remained a regular in the starting line up under a new management team that includes Scott Russell and Nick Morgan.

Results soon started to improve, with an influx of new players.

After the final home match of the season, Cameron was awarded the Supporters Player of the Season trophy, before being awarded the Managers Player of the Season trophy and Players Player of the Year trophy at the End of Season Awards Night on Saturday.

To many involved in local football, it has been a surprise that Cameron hasn’t been given an opportunity with the Hereford FC First Team, especially after being part of the Under 18s side for much of the season.

Westfields manager Scott Russell will be keen to keep hold of player of Cam Davies’ ability for the forthcoming season, but there are likely to be many clubs pushing for him to sign for them over the summer.Â
