Westfields Football Club have strengthened their squad, with five additions over recent days.
Fields currently sit in 13th position in the league, after a disruptive season, with many players departing when former manager Phil Glover left the club.
Two of the signings will be no strangers to the club, with former goalkeeper Kieron Blackburn putting pen to paper, alongside Daniel Stoneman, who rejoins the club from Cribbs, after departing a few months ago.
Manager Scott Russell had this to say after the signatures of Kieron Blackburn and Daniel Stoneman:
“Kieron is a great signing for the club, and a keeper that I have tried to sign for some time.
“Dan left on great terms when we came in, and we were disappointed he left, but we are looking forward to working with him.”
Also joining Westfields is Hereford Lads Club midfielder Mason Godsall.
Mason, who joined Lads Club after a brief spell at Hereford Pegasus, will bolster Fields midfield options, and Scott Russell had the following to say on his signature:
“Mason will add a bit of extra grit and determination to our midfield. He is also the type of character we are looking to add to the dressing room.”
Fields have also signed both Issac Richards and Tom Stokes from Merthyr Town for the rest of the season.
Westfields host Mangotsfield United in the Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday 13th January, 3pm kick off.
