Its groundhopping day in the Hellenic League with big crowds expected at both Westfields and Hereford Lads Club’s matches today.
Hundreds of supporters from across the country are expected to descend on both Westfields (3pm kick off) and then Lads Club (5.30pm kick off) in what promises to be a brilliant Good Friday in the warm sunshine.
At Westfields, the gate and bar will be open from 12-30pm. Admission Prices at allpay park are Adults £7, Concessions and OAP’s £5. Kids can enter for just £1. All payments can be cash or card for entrance and for purchasing refreshments or memorabilia. Programmes, badges, coats, scarves will be available to purchase which is likely to be popular with the groundhoppers!
Prior to kick off there will be a minutes silence in memory of two important members of the Westfields family. Dave Williams & Angus MacIntyre who sadly passed away this week. There will also be a halftime raffle for a cash prize and you can buy a ticket for only a £1. At the end of the game the club will be presenting the supporters voted player of the year. Westfields offer fantastic hospitality to all visitors so we are sure you’ll enjoy your visit.
Then it’s on over to Lads Club for the 5.30pm kick off. The bar at Lads Club is open from 1pm, with hot and cold food available. You will have the opportunity to sign up to the newly launched ‘100 club’, as well as the opportunity to play the football card, giving you the chance of winning some money to spend. Items will be available to purchase from the club shop and the bar will remain open until late after the match. Cash and card payments accepted.
At Lads Club, entry into the match will be £6 for Adults and Kids get in FREE.
Fans are advised to arrive early, with limited parking at both clubs. The best advice may be to park at Merton Meadow car park, but people should take note that Hereford FC are playing at home this afternoon.
