Hereford FC will visit Hereford Lads Club as part of the clubs pre season schedule, in a 3pm kick off on Saturday 6th July.
Your Herefordshire understands that the fixture could be brought forward to 2pm should England progress at Euro 2024, with a possible Quarter Final tie taking place at 5pm on the same day.
The Bulls will travel to the County Ground to take on a Hereford Lads Club side managed by Danny Moon and John Haycox.
The Bulls will also travel to Halesowen Town on Saturday 27th July, with Bulls News also revealing that the club will visit Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday 16th July.
More than 800 season tickets have been sold ahead of the new National League North campaign, with the early bird offer ending at the end of this week.
In a recent update for fans, manager Paul Caddis said:
“I hope everyone is as eager to see football back at Edgar Street as soon as possible as much as my players and I are.
“At this time of the season it really is non stop preparation plans for the season ahead and I am happy to share what I have been up to since the last update provided.”
Pre-Season Schedule
“We have completed our Pre-Season schedule and fixtures will be released by the club in due course.
“3 Home Games and 3 Away Games have been confirmed.
“Room for a potential Away Tuesday evening fixture if needed.”
Player Meetings
“I have spent several days across the weeks gone by meeting potential new players, current players and players who have decided to leave the club which I will update you on.”
Potential New Players
“We have signed a player which at this moment in time can’t be confirmed until his current deal runs out which I am really pleased with both as a player but also as a person and character.
“I have conducted an awful lot of meetings in the Birmingham area with players we have identified as potential players we’d like to bring to the club.
“Some of those talks have been positive. Some we have made offers. Some have been rejected due to financial gain at other clubs and some I have walked away from as I felt it wasn’t the character or personality I want to bring to our club.
“I will continue and do continue to watch hours of footage and reference check every player before signing them and of course meeting them in person also gives me a gauge of the personality.”
Players Leaving
“NATHAN CAMERON has been a remarkable and exemplary human being for our football club and I ask he gets the thanks he deserves from us all. Nathan Cameron is a brilliant captain and leader of men and we wish Nathan and his family all the best for the future.
“CURTIS POND joined us from step 4 Chasetown and was a brilliant signing for us. A huge character in the dressing room and played a huge part in bringing the supporters together with the players. ‘Pondy’ has suggested work schedule has made it difficult for him to commit and will sign for a club closer to home which will also earn him a financial promotion which we are unable to compete with. That’s the nature of the world and we wish Pondy the absolute best. A top goalie and a real top top fella.
“TOPE OBADEYI has been very open and honest and respectful in making it clear he has loved his time at the club and would be keen to stay however is looking at his options out there at the moment.
“OLLIE SOUTHERN is unable to commit to the club on the terms offered to him which again I have full respect for. Ollie never let the team down and we wish him all the best moving forward as well.
“YUSIFU CEESAY made it clear again has loved his time working under myself and the staff and has really enjoyed the connection and love you supporters made him feel but wants to seek other opportunities. Ceesay has aspirations of playing football abroad and I hope his aspirations are met and he gets the move he deserves.
“JORDAN CRANSTON will leave the club after a successful loan spell at Redditch United and we wish ‘Cranno’ and his family the best of luck for the future.”
“We thank everyone of the players leaving us for their efforts this season and wish them all the success moving forward.
“Football is a very short career and although not everyone is motivated by finances I think it’s normal for players to find the best deals possible for themselves but also for the families that support them.
“We won’t win financial battles but what we do know is no one can compete with you supporters so as much as it’s difficult to be missing out on real good players that can make us better we do understand and accept where we are at financially.
“That leads me on really nicely to the Squad Builder and Membership Scheme initiatives which has been a real success and has a direct impact on the playing budget.
“The offer from the Founding Shareholders shows exactly the dedication and commitment they have to the football club and I personally thank them for that.
“Season ticket sales although doesn’t affect the playing budget is something we need to continuously drive for so many reasons. On a more selfish note it brings great atmosphere in numbers to Edgar street and can be the difference between 1 point and 3 points.
“As a club it’s vitally important if we want to push forward together and be as competitive as we all want to be then the more we get through the turnstiles the better financially it can be for the football club. We have the right chairman and board of directors in place to do the best for the club.
“I thank you all for your continued support and it’s been a first year of management I will never forget. Last season was great and a season of recovery for the football club. It’s done now. It’s over.
“Let’s look forward together as a club and community and bring the noise and positivity and prove my continued public adoration of you being the best supporters in the league and beyond.
“Our Hereford FC bubble has to be as water tight and strong as any other clubs in this country.
“The mentality of the football club has been shifted and as much as we are not quite there yet we have to keep going.
“I won’t settle and continue to pick the battles I need to with the sole aim of protecting the club I have the honour of representing on the touchline.
“See you all soon. Enjoy the break. Look after yourself and your families and get ready for another season of togetherness full of HARD WORK, CHARACTER and DESIRE.”
