It seems like it’s the story of Westfields season. Late drama resulting in a huge win!
Westfields looked dead and buried at 4-2 down after 87 minutes yesterday before an incredible last few minutes saw goals from Josh Hunt, Harrison Summers and Cawley Cox earn Westfields a huge 5-4 victory to close the gap at the top of the Hellenic Premier Division before a huge tie on Tuesday evening against high flying Cribbs.

Fields stage dramatic late comeback to take all 3 points!
With centre half Paul Hurrell suspended and Joe Davies our leading scorer and defender away it meant a change in personnel at the back for #Fields something quickly exploited by Fairford Town Football Club who raced into a 2 goal lead before 2 quick fire replies from Josh Hunt and Rich Greaves brought us back into the game at 2-2.
Not to be deflated our visitors scored before half time from a corner to lead 3-2 at the break.
20 minutes into the 2nd half it looked all over for the #Fields as our visitors scored again from another corner to go 4-2 up.
What happened next was the introduction of Cawley Cox on 83 minutes as #fields looked for a spark to get us back in the game, he certainly provided it with his pace desire and energy.
The comeback started with a penalty converted by Josh Hunt quickly followed by a leveller from Harrison Summers another of our exciting teenagers 4-4.
Shell shocked was to become worse for our visitors as Cawley Cox scored what proved to be the winner in added time sparking great celebrations amongst the players, management and supporters 5-4.
Another youngster Max Coley came on to help shore up the team in the final minutes to prevent any further goals with the game finishing 5-4 to the #Fields!
That’s 10 goals scored in 2 games at Allpay 6 conceded, anyone paying to watch has certainly had value for there money.
