Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder, Giles Coke is the latest signing after impressing Bulls’ boss, Josh Gowling during his recent trial period with the club.

“I’m really happy to bring Giles in,” said Gowling “his career speaks for itself, his pedigree, he’s been great around the lads, he drives the environment, drives it forwards.

“He’s played in the Championship for a lot of his career, so it just goes to show the pull this football club has, with the fans we get and the football club as a whole.”

Speaking to Giles Coke says that a conversation with Josh Gowling left him with no doubts that Hereford was the right club to join. “I had a good conversation with Josh, he told me about his ambitions and the clubs’ ambitions and I was excited by the project that he put to me.

“I’ve come in [during pre-season], I really like the staff, the players, and the setup and I’m all ready to go.”

“The start of the season is just over a week or so away, we’ve got a few more pre-season friendlies so hopefully we can finish pre-season on a high and take that on into the season.”
