Following the announcement made by the government today the Hereford FC Board of Directors have made the following comment.
“We acknowledge the statement made by the government regarding the postponement of the plans to allow fans back into football stadia.
“Directors, staff, and volunteers have been working hard over the past few months to ensure that Edgar Street will meet all government guidelines in terms of making it a Covid-safe environment, and whilst we are disappointed that we now have more uncertainty about when the season will start, we understand the difficult decisions the government has to make.
“We are now waiting for confirmation from the National League as to what plans they have moving forward. As soon as we have more details ourselves, we will inform supporters of the next stage.
“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank fans for their support and patience so far.”
