England fans from across Herefordshire descended on bars and pubs across the county yesterday to watch the World Cup Quarter Final match against Sweden.
England won comfortably and secured a place in Wednesday evenings Semi Final against Croatia.
Supporters packed bars in Hereford and provided a much needed financial boost to many businesses after a tough few months. The majority of supporters enjoyed the day and behaved well other than a couple of isolated incidents.
The football combined with the weather saw the Spread Eagle sell 88 pints of Heineken in just one hour! Luckily we’re informed that they have a delivery planned ahead of England’s match on Wednesday!
