Former Wigmore High School pupil Jim Williams will be part of the Wales team in the 2024 World Cup of Darts.

Gerwyn Price has had to withdraw due to illness, which means Williams will now replace him and partner with Jonny Clayton at the tournament which will be held in Frankfurt this weekend.

Price is replaced by the next highest-ranked Welsh player from the PDC Order of Merit which is Williams, who will make his World Cup debut this weekend.

Williams regularly practices at the Red Lion in Pembridge and is currently ranked 44 in the world.
