A club statement from Hereford FC:
It is with regret that we confirm that Hereford FC Chairman, Jon Hale, has taken the decision to step down from his role as Chairman and Director with immediate effect.
Hale said: “I have made this difficult decision after careful consideration for a variety of personal reasons.
‘I have been honoured to serve as Chairman for a second time, and thank everyone who has supported the Board and club in that time.
“We have the best supporters in the land, and I hope the club will go on to thrive and achieve the success it deserves for us all.
“To the staff and volunteers – you are the real heroes for your total commitment, passion and sheer graft to the benefit of our fantastic club.
“See you in the stands as I continue to support Hereford FC as I always will. Thank you everyone.”
