Tomorrow is set to be a scorcher, with highs of 31c possible across Herefordshire. However, for those that don’t like the heat, you’ll be pleased to hear that temperatures will drop back down to closer to average for the time of year on Saturday with highs of around 21c.

“The hot spell will be a blink and you’ll miss it affair, with plenty of sunshine and highs locally of 29-30c with some cloud building by early evening. There is a small risk that some areas may see some showers towards late evening.
The Met Office forecast for The Midlands says:
A predominately sunny day on Friday with temperatures becoming hot. Some cloud may bubble up through the afternoon, but it should stay dry. Maximum temperature 31 °C.
UV levels will be very high and members of the public are advised to stay out of direct sunlight between the hours of 11am-3pm when the sun is at its strongest.
