Social media users were left stunned earlier this morning after news broke about a woman being chased by a pig at Haugh Woods.
Police were called and released a the following information:
“We’ve had a report of a woman being chased by a pig in Haugh Woods.The pig is described as pink or brown in colour with black or brown spots. At this time we are unsure whether he’s taken inspiration from Steve McQueen and planned his great escape or someone has lost him whilst taking him for a walk.”
However, there has been a new sighting of the pig since then, with police saying that he was “last seen approximately an hour ago by the picnic bench having his belly tickled…”
We’re not sure if they’re telling us porkies or not?
