West Mercia Police have provided an update following an incident where armed police were called to Ledbury on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“This was part of a pre-planned operation.
“A vehicle was stopped in Ledbury, and one man was arrested and taken into custody.”

Armed Police have been seen responding to an incident in Herefordshire this afternoon.
The incident occurred in Ledbury at around 4.30pm. Several armed officers and response vehicles were seen in the area.
One eyewitness said that a number of arrests appear to have been made.
Officers were seen in The Homend area of the town. The road remains open.
