The owners of the Golden Galleon in Hereford look set to be opening a new venture on Commercial Road in Hereford, Your Herefordshire can reveal.
Herefordshire Council’s planning website states that an application has been made for a Lawful Development Certificate for a proposed change of use of ground floor from Class E(a)(i) to Class E(a).
Class E(a) use includes:
“Display or retail sale of goods, other than hot food.”
The application was submitted by Mr Harjinder Singh on behalf of the Golden Galleon.
Further details are likely to be shared once the lawful development certificate is issued.
14-15 Commercial Road was previously occupied by Marsh Commercial.
‘The existing use falls within the previous Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 Class A2 professional services and the proposed use will be Class E(a) (formally A1 retail) for use by future occupiers, a Certificate of Proposed Lawful Use (CPLU) is required.’
