A man has died following a collision between a car and a lorry on the A46 near Evesham between the junction with Cheltenham Road and Aston Summerville.
Officers from West Mercia Police were called to the scene at about 9.45am today (Wednesday 10 November) where a man in his fifties was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
The collision involved a Silver Nissan Qashqai car and a white Mercedes car transporter lorry. The lorry driver was unhurt.
The road has been closed for investigations to take place and is expected to stay shut for a number of hours.
