The driver of a vehicle that was involved in a collision with a gritter lorry on the England/Wales border near Grosmont has told Your Herefordshire that he “can’t believe he’s still alive” and that he thought “his time was up” when the collision occurred during heavy snow over the weekend.
William Gurney was travelling between Grosmont and Kentchurch when his car was involved in a collision with the HGV.
William said: “I thought this is going to be the end of my life or that I was going to be seriously injured. I believe I blacked out for a few seconds and I’m still getting flash backs now. It’s seriously scared me.”
