West Mercia Police are currently responding to a collision in Hereford this evening.
Police have confirmed to our reporter on the scene that the closure is in place due to a collision that occurred earlier this evening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service crews have also been in attendance.
A road block is in place on Bath Street, outside Hereford Police Station, with motorists being turned around and advised to used alternative routes.
Motorists are already facing delays this evening due to two broken down vehicles on the A49 (Greyfriars Bridge).
