Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Hollywood, Worcestershire.
At around 11.55pm on Sunday 3 November, we received a report of a man lying in a layby on the A435 Hollywood Bypass.
Officers and ambulance crew responded quickly; however, a 51-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s believed the man was hit by a vehicle before it left the area.
A 53-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Inspector Stephanie Arrowsmith from Bromsgrove Roads Policing said: “We have arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He remains in police custody.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision as they may have information which could help with our investigation.
