Two men were arrested on Tuesday after Police Dog Ollie (pictured) and his handler discovered 35 small bags of cannabis inside a drain during the execution of a drugs warrant in Gloucester.

Officers from the Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing team, alongside Ollie and his handler, executed a warrant in the city centre area after intelligence was gathered about suspected drug dealing.

As part of searches, officers discovered the cannabis which appeared to have been flushed down the toilet along with over £500 in cash which was hidden within the property.

Two men from Gloucester, aged 24 and 28, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. They were later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
