A family in Hereford have told Your Herefordshire how they have been left devastated after a fire caused significant damage to their house.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Three Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – two from Hereford and one from Fownhope – were called to a house fire with persons reported in Web Tree Avenue, Hereford at 19:29 on 14 November.
“The fire was on the ground floor of a semi-detached two-storey property and was well alight. The fire was fought using one hosereel jet and one covering jet with two firefighters using breathing apparatus. One male casualty in his 20s, conscious and breathing but suffering from smoke inhalation was handed over to paramedics. Police and ambulance (log 7967) also attended. The incident was marked as stop at 20:35.”
