The body of a missing person has been discovered by Brecon Beacons Mountain Rescue Team.
Over recent days, search and rescue teams and Dyfed-Powys Police have been searching for a missing 96-year-old woman from Brecon. Formal identification will now take place. The body was discovered on Saturday.
A spokesperson for the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said:
“The body of a missing person was found by team members during an ongoing search in the Brecon area today. Our thoughts are with family and friends at this sad time.”
